Milky Way over Vlamingh Head Lighthouse:27H - Heaven: Foreign Skies
The Vlamingh Head lighthouse stands at the top of a rocky outcrop high above the Indian Ocean about half way up the coast of Western Australia and approximately 20km from the small town of Exmouth. The lighthouse is no longer in operation but maintained as an historical building. I had to wait until the moon had set in the early hours of the morning on our last night in Western Australia. The lack of sleep and drive from Exmouth (dodging Kangaroo's in the road) was worth it! April 2014
