Heaven: British Isles

Living on our small and increasingly crowded island has many benefits - but dark skies suitable for admiring the heavens is not one of them. There are however locations not too distant from our home where the beauty of the night sky can be appreciated under less light polluted skies. These images have all been recorded in the UK, some in my home county of Hertfordshire!
