Summer sunrise over the Rib Valley and the sun bursts through the branches of the oak tree known locally as the Bengeo Oak. The tree became a focal point for local residents during the covid pandemic and more recently the fight to prevent development in Bengeo Field in which the tree stands. It has become a symbol of hope for many. Long may it stand proud in the field which is used by so many locals. Aug 16.
