Rainbow Over Lambay Island:15E

Taken on the same stormy afternoon as 14E this (almost)double rainbow arches perfectly over Lambay Island off the coast of County Dublin. Lambay Island is home to sea birds, cattle, deer and a small colony of red-necked wallabies. The wallabies were originally brought to the island in the 1950's and 60's, and have survived to this day. Back to the rainbow; the light region within the primary rainbow and dark band between the primary and secondary bows are features of any rainbow and are dependent upon the number of times light is reflected as it passes through the raindrops.
