Earth
The landscape around us has the ability to occasionally make us stop and stare in wonder, be it a wonderful vista, sunrise, weather or the textures of everyday objects or a grime industrial scene. The images in this portfolio are my attempts at capturing the beauty of the world around us. Those under the heading "Close to Home" are literally within a ten mile radius of our front door and I feel they demonstrate that perhaps we are all a little guilty of taking for granted what is on our doorstep!
These images are presented as a single portfolio of landscape photographs taken in and around Hertford over the past few years. There are a mix of colour and monochrome images to suit the atmosphere of the scene. |
Images from further afield are presented in different portfolios for different counties and regions of the UK. These are principally landscape images but some industrial and architectural scenes are included. |
