Watching the waves break over the Bude Sea Pool is quite mesmerising. This photograph is an exposure of just over a second to capture the movement of the water as the waves break and then drain away before the next onslaught. The power of nature was has rarely been so evident!

This is the only photograph exhibited here today that is not local. I hope you will allow me a little discretion to show one of my favourite images. May 22.
