Blackwater Dawn:67E - Essex Coast
I travelled down to Heybridge Basin very early on a cold Saturday morning in November to try and capture a picture of the moon, Venus, Jupiter and Mars in conjunction. I just got set up on the sea wall along the north bank of the River Blackwater between Heybridge and Maldon opposite Northey Island when a sea mist rolled in! The crescent moon remained visible through the murk but the planets were obscured. I was then treated to one of the most fabulous sunrises I have seen in a while. This is a view looking out towards the estuary with Northey Island opposite. November 2015
